StarCode

Every Star Kids Academy class and camp runs on StarCode, a coding platform developed by our founder over more than a decade of teaching robotics.

Each block in StarCode carries meaning through its shape, color, and structure, mirroring how real code is organized, so students learn syntax, logic, and program flow through the act of building.

Three languages at once

Every block expresses the same logic but with the ability to see in Python, C++, and Java, the three languages that drive real world software and robotics. Students see all three side by side as they build, so professional syntax becomes familiar long before they write a single line from scratch.

Natural language prompting

A natural language prompting system allows students to describe what they want their robot to do in plain English. This connects a student's idea to working code and deepens their understanding of why each piece belongs where it does.

Progress and debugging

A built in progression and achievement system keeps students challenged, with debugging integrated throughout. Students learn to locate errors, understand why something did not work, and reason as engineers do.

StarCode turns every class into a coding literacy experience.
