STAR KIDS ROBOTICS
Robotics classes at three levels.
Students do not just learn concepts, they build them. Robot design, coding, and engineering, worked out through real builds and challenges the students take on themselves.
Jr Robotics, Grades 1 to 3. Sr Robotics, Grades 4 to 5. Middle School Robotics, Grades 6 to 8, launching January 2027.

OPTION 1
Robotics at your child's school.
We bring the class to campus. Your child walks from their classroom to ours. No transportation, no extra pickup, no change to your afternoon. Each class is one hour: a robotics lesson, coding in StarCode, then a workshop or challenge built on what they just learned.
FALL 2026
SPRING 2027
$40 per hour
per student, per hour of class. 11-13 week semesters.
12 seats
Twelve students per instructor. Once twelve seats fill, registration closes for that class.
Equipment provided
Everything your child needs is here. Nothing comes from home.
*Star Kids Robotics also teaches at Sunflower Learning Center and One Stop Learning Center.
OPTION 2
Robotics at Star Kids Academy.
Standalone classes and camps at our Cupertino location, open to any student. You do not need to be enrolled in the after school program. Because we have our own room, students can do more here: they 3D print parts for their own designs, work with our full Technic inventory, and keep their build in a cubby so a project can run over weeks instead of ending when the hour does.

Jr, Sr, and Middle School levels. One hour per week, fall and spring semesters. Launches January 2027.
SCHOOL BREAKS
Fall and winter camps
Full day camps during school breaks. Each week has its own theme, and students build and code around that theme.
COMPETITION
Competition pathways
Competition style builds in class. Middle School doubles as high school robotics prep. Ask us about FIRST Lego League teams.
THE CURRICULUM
What students actually learn.
Engineering
Gear ratios, structural design, and motor integration, explored through a real build the student makes, not a worksheet. At our Cupertino location students also design and 3D print their own parts.
Coding
Variables, data types, operators, conditional statements, loops, sensors, and motors, learned by writing and running actual programs. Advanced students go further into functions.
All classes run on StarCode, our own coding platform. Every block a student places shows the same logic in Python, C++, and Java side by side, so professional syntax becomes familiar long before they write a line from scratch.
Instruction is led by a Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy certified teacher, and our curriculum is aligned to ISTE and NGSS standards.
