About the event
Get ready and buckle up for the most advanced robotics driving experience we have ever built — welcome to CARBOTS 2.0!
This is not your ordinary robotics camp. Students will step into the world of real autonomous vehicle engineering, tackling the same levels of self-driving behavior used by Waymo, Tesla, and the future of transportation. From basic sensor-assisted driving all the way up to full environmental awareness and decision making, students will program their robots through the official levels of autonomous automobile behavior, including obstacle detection, self-parking, waypoint navigation, sensor fusion, and adaptive automation that responds to the world around it.
But we are not stopping at code. This year students will design and 3D print custom aerodynamic shells for their vehicles, turning their robots into fully personalized self-driving machines that are as impressive to look at as they are to program.
