At Star Kids Academy Robotics we teach elementary students the fundamentals of engineering and coding through hands-on robotics. Students explore core engineering concepts including gear ratios, structural design, motor integration, and 3D printing and CAD, while learning foundational coding concepts such as variables, data types, operators, conditional statements, and loops including for and while loops with sensors and motors. Advanced students go further into functions, arrays, and object oriented programming principles. Our program connects families to local tech industry professionals and high school robotics teams, and provides pathways for students interested in pursuing competition.
