BUILDING
THE BRIDGE
Welcome to Star Kids Academy Robotics, where we believe in building bridges by providing a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow in STEAM education. Our courses are designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. Join us and be a part of your child's educational journey.
OUR PROGRAM
With over 11 years of experience in the classroom teaching robotics, we at Star Kids Academy have perfected the content delivery for students to get the most out of a robotics education experience. We offer a wide range of comprehensive programs tailored to the unique needs and interests of every child. From our eight different themed camps to our after-school classes and mentorship programs, our curriculum is carefully crafted to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in a variety of formats. With a focus on interactive learning through gamification and creative STEAM exploration, we aim to inspire an exciting lifelong passion for knowledge and discovery in each child.

*Note: Python is one of the most popular computer coding languages used in the artificial intelligence industry today. Learning Python as a standalone language is most beneficial for grades 5 and above. Our program’s curriculum is created to build the bridge between how to code in block-based programming and Python. Because of this, we believe elementary students who understand how any given concept works in block-based programming can benefit by being exposed to how the same concept is done in Python. Depending on the student's age and comprehension, they can become exposed to and learn the basics of Python at different paces. All concepts are taught based on the comprehension of the class. Python is shown in the first semester of the school year and emphasized/used in the second semester.
**Combo classes (Grades 1-5) go at the pace of the Jr's but allow grades 3-5 advanced material within any given lesson/subject.
KINDERGARTEN *NEW*

Star Kids Academy Robotics is launching a play-based kindergarten robotics program at select schools and after-school programs. This program is intended to bring beginning critical thinking, memory, and decision-making experiences in the theme of robotics to students aged 5-6. Inquire directly about your interest in our kinder robotics classes.

AFTER-SCHOOL
Star Kids Academy Robotics offers after school classes at select schools in the Silicon Valley. Check our after school page for after school registration updates.

Each student is given the complete track system introduction on the first day of class. Students are encouraged and guided to fulfill their potential while at the Academy by utilizing the student track point system. Points have future benefits in the Academy.
Students are awarded points for each accomplishment / project / completed assignment given in camp or class which can be used for upgrades and boosts within their track for future use. Camp and class completion have future value and benefit.
Star Kids Academy's Certified System is credentialed to fulfill standards in ISTE, NGSS, and CSTA. Each student who completes a camp or semester class receives an endorsed certification for the completion under our standards.
Student's begin with cooperative gaming to acclimate to the mechanics of gaming in a non-competitive way. Throughout the Star Kids Academy journey, students learn the fundamentals of sportsmanship and ease into team competition.
Students who complete projects first have the option to earn points for mentorship. Star Kids Academy incentivizes students to help others on their journey. Leadership and positive communication with others is awarded.
At-Home Tutoring
Star Kids Academy Robotics offers paired at-home tutoring for competition teams and personalized tracks for mentoring students who want to learn from home.
