The Autonomous Vehicle

(Grades 3-6) This camp track mission will focus on the building and use of the electric autonomous automobile. Students will learn about batteries, hardware / firmware, and the programming of the autonomous vehicle using sensors, obstacle avoidance, navigation, object detection and more… Students will also learn about autonomous driving, self driving cars, and the various levels of autonomous navigation. Students will participate in tug of war competition, autonomous passenger pick competition, auto parking challenge, and more! This track uses the EV3 robot and students will build the chassis of the EV3 RAC3 as a base and engineer a lego shell replica of the Tesla Cybertruck as the model for this camp. Students will be assisted in their design process by Star Kids Staff if needed.
